...this market is stuck in a quagmire. From a TA perspective, the back and forth crisscrossing of the DMI lines reveal how choppy the price action has been and the clear lack of conviction on both sides, bull and bear.
Stepping out a bit further, the price remains well entrenched within a longer term DOWNTRENDING price channel which is obvious on this intermediate time frame.
Until something arises to change the current stalemate, gold seems destined for more of the same.
