I'm following the gold market thanks to a Belgian investment letter (Analyse of Roland Van Damme) since 2004. First I was active on the Cash-board (alias P2B), later on I followed the "goudforum" without posting and finally I was happy to find this free (of charge) board.
I must say I'm rather an opportunistic follower of the gold market. Recently, my money was put in my own new house (of which I expect it will keep a bit of his value ), so I have for the moment no big money to save from the ongoing degradation of the euro. Therefore I just try to play the Crimex market with some small money, in order to be able to purchase the real thing afterwards.
The only thing I invest in are turbos from ABN-AMRO, of course always the long ones. For the moment I'm long gold and silver.
I am a "precious metals bug" (a play on the term goldbug) from Texas, USA. I am the owner/admin of pmbug.com and I like to talk about gold, banking and monetary policy.
I am a little bit familiar with FOFOA's work, but it's been a good decade plus since I have read any of his blog, so I'm a bit rusty on the details of what he was espousing. I hope to find some clarity on that here.
